Import Billing Item Templates

You may wish to import billing item templates. This feature is in addition to creating or adding billing item templates, the instructions for which can be found here

To import billing item templates use the following Import Billing Item Templates template and follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to Billing > Billing Item Templates.

  1. Prepare the spreadsheet, following the instructions in rows 1-4. Notice that all header rows in red are mandatory fields. Black header rows are optional. Follow the additional notes in rows 6-25. Once you have followed all the instructions, delete these rows. 

  1. Save the spreadsheet after you are finished entering your data. Note that the spreadsheet can be saved as a csv or xlsx.
  2. Back on the Billing Item Templates page, click the Import CSV or XLSX link.

  1. Click the Choose File button to browse for and select your saved spreadsheet. 
  2. Select Add New Billing Items or Update Existing Billing Items as needed.
  3. Click the Import button. 

  1. AppColl will check the spreadsheet for any errors. If you receive a red error message, you must fix the error. Hover over an error row to read the error message and click the Pencil icon to correct the field. Cells in Red have an error that must be fixed.
  2. Review yellow Warning messages. Warnings may be ignored.
  3. At any time, you can click the Save & Validate button to see any fixed row's error disappear.
  4. Once all errors are fixed, click the Import Valid Rows button. 

  1. If there are no Red errors, click the Import All Rows button.

  1. You will receive a confirmation message upon successful import. Click the Close button.
