AppColl can retrieve bibliographic data from Patent Center, TSDR and EspaceNet. Click here for more information on how these data sources can be used.
AppColl creates a ‘Review Differences’ task for a matter any time discrepancies are found between data currently stored in AppColl and data retrieved from one of the data sources mentioned above.
AppColl changes the name of the task based on the source of information. For example, a "Review USPTO Differences" task is created when data retrieved from Patent Center differs from the current data in AppColl. A "Review TSDR Differences" task is created when data retrieved from TSDR differs from the current data stored in AppColl. Lastly, a "Review EspaceNet Differences" task is created when data retrieved from EspaceNet differs from the current data stored in AppColl.
The purpose of the task is to alert you of the difference(s) found, which are clearly stated in the Comments section of the task. After reviewing the differences, you can simply change the Task Status to Reviewed or Completed.
AppColl also illustrates the differences in matter details via a yellow exclamation point. Click here for more details.
